Mónica Monteiro
Say olá to Mónica Monteiro, an illustrator and freelance graphic designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. When Mónica’s not throwing her creative energy into our colourful characters, she’s busy designing infographics for online newspapers, sketching miniature designs or telling stories with her niece. Her work is inspired by artists Picasso, Basquiat and Kara Walker, designers Milton Glaser and Giorgia Lupi, journalist Mona Chalabi and musicians Miles Davis and Charles Bradley, who helped to create the lens through which she views the world.
